In this special issue of Research Progress of Anti-infective Drugs, articles describing the current advances of research on anti-infective drugs will be invited for submission. The direction of submissions can be pharmacology, pharmaceutics, medicinal chemistry, natural products, pharmaceutical analysis, etc. Where appropriate, contributions are also encouraged to discuss novel mechanisms or hot targets of infective diseases. It is envisioned that with this Special Issue compilation, researchers in the field will be able to learn the current advances and gain hints for their future works on related drug design and development.
Manuscripts should be submitted online at http://www.elsevier.com/locate/apsb by registering and logging in to this website. Papers will be published on-line continuously (as soon as accepted) and will be listed together on the special issue website. Research articles, review articles as well as short communications are invited.
Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere (except conference proceedings papers). All manuscripts are refereed through a peer-review process. Brief introduction of APSB:
Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B (APSB) (ISSN: 2211-3835) is a bimonthly English peer-reviewed online journal in ScienceDirect, which publishes research articles, reviews and communications in all areas of pharmaceutical sciences. The journal is co-published by Elsevier B.V., in association with the Institute of Materia Medica, Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences and Chinese Pharmaceutical Association. Editor-in-Chief, Jian-dong Jiang, is also the director of Institute of Materia Medica. APSB encourages submissions from all areas of pharmaceutical sciences, including pharmacology, pharmaceutics, medicinal chemistry, natural products, pharmacognosy, pharmaceutical analysis, pharmacokinetics and drug metabolism.
APSB is a part of the series Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica(《药学学报》), which was founded in 1953 and is now the most famous pharmaceutical journal in China. It is the only pharmaceutical journal awarded "China's top 100 journals " for 8 years, continuously. The editorial office of Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica publishs the English journal APSB in order to promote outstanding Chinese researchers to international academy and introduce oversea achievements to Chinese researchers.
