衰老性学习记忆减退相关的脑内单胺类神经递质研究进展

Research advances in brain monoamine neurotransmitters in the aging-associated memory decline

  • 摘要: 学习记忆减退是机体衰老的一个重要表现,严重影响老年人的健康水平和生活质量。衰老性学习记忆减退往往伴随着相关脑区去甲肾上腺素、多巴胺和5-羟色胺神经递质水平的降低。不同脑区单胺类神经递质通过与受体结合调节突触可塑性,从而在学习记忆中发挥着重要的作用。本文对衰老过程中不同脑区单胺类神经递质的变化、调节学习记忆的机制和导致递质异常的因素等方面进行综述,以便更好地理解衰老性学习记忆减退的机制,并为相关药物研究提供靶点信息。

     

    Abstract: Learning and memory decline is an important manifestation of aging, seriously affecting the health and life quality of the elderly. Aging-related learning and memory decline is often accompanied by decreased levels of norepinephrine, dopamine and serotonin neurotransmitters in the relevant brain regions. Monoamine neurotransmitters in different brain regions bind to receptors and regulate synaptic plasticity, which play an important role in learning and memory. This article reviews the changes of monoamine neurotransmitters in different brain regions, the mechanisms in regulation of learning and memory, and the factors causing abnormal levels of neurotransmitters in the process of aging in order to better understand the mechanisms of senile learning and memory decline to facilitate drug research.
