Chrysanthemum indicum L. is a Chinese traditional drug used forantifebrile, detoxication and hypotensive purposes. In continuation of our efforts to searchfor the active principles of this speceies, a new sesquiterpene compound, namedchrysanthetriol was isolated from the more polar fraction of the title plant.
