脑垂体后叶生物检定中大白鼠子宫法的动物选择

ON SELECTION OF SUITABLE FEMALE RATS FOR THE RAT UTERUS METHOD EMPLOYED IN THE BIOASSAY OF PITUITARY(POSTERIOR LOBE)EXTRACT

  • 摘要: 1.利用大白鼠子宫法来测定脑垂体后叶时,以采用在前情期的动物可以得到最高的成功率.研究中所用的十个动物得到完全成功的结果,在经常检定工作中亦证实了此点.因此对大白鼠法提供了通过阴道涂片选择动物的改进方法.2.实验结果否定了关于过去文献介绍应用间情期动物的记载.3.讨论了雌性激素处理过的大白鼠(人工前情期)应用于脑垂体后叶检定的可能性,和可能影响检定结果的因素.

     

    Abstract: Uterine spontaneous contraction and the irregular responses of uteri towards same doses of pituitary extract were very often encountered in the uterus method for pituitary bioassay.The rate of successful experiments was variable.It was found that uteri obtained from rats in proestrus stage gave much better results than those in either diestrus or estrus.Experiments employing ovarietomised rats treated or untreated with hexoestrol dipropionate also showed that uteri from rats in artificial diestrus gave disappointing results but uteri in artificial proestrus were as good as those in normal proestrus(Table Ⅰ). The possibility and problems involved in employing artificial proestrus uteri in pituitary assay are discussed.
