Abstract: A method of leaves-fungi bed was used to grow the seeds of Gastrodia elata Bl. Germination proto-corms were observed 26 days after sowing. The average germination rate was 7.43%, whereas the highest rate was 18.9%. One and a half years after sowing, 58.4% of the total holes contained commercial tubers, while the average yield in each hole was 1367 g. The bare hole rated 1.12%.
