Abstract:
AIM: To investigate the chemical constituents of
Radix Polygoni multiflori Preparata. METHODS: Compounds were isolated from the n-BuOH extract with column chromatography of silica gel, Sephadex, ODS, and compounds were identified on the basis of spectral analysis (IR, EI-MS, FAB-MS,
1HNMR,
13CNMR, 2D-NMR) and phytochemical properties. RESULTS: Five compounds were isolated and identified as: physcion-8-O-β-D-glucopyranoside (Ⅰ), emodin-8-
O-β-
D-glucopyranoside (Ⅱ), torachrysone-8-
O-β-
D-glucopyranoside (Ⅲ), 6-methoxyl-2-acetyl-3-methyl-1,4-naphthoquinone-8-
O-β-
D-glucopyranoside (Ⅳ), 2,3,5,4′-tetrahydroxystilbene-2-
O-(6″-
O-acetyl)-β-
D-glucopyranoside (Ⅴ). CONCLUSION: Ⅳ and Ⅴare two new compounds.
