Abstract:
Seven glycosidic constituents have been isolated from the dried leaves of
Glycyrrhiza uralensis Ficsh. (Leguminosae). The Structures of these compounds havefor identified as 1-O-protocatechuyl-
β-D-xylose (Ⅰ), apigenin-6, 8-di-C-
β-D-glucopyranoside (vicenin-2, Ⅱ), isorhamnetin-3-O-rutinoside (narcissin,Ⅲ) kaempferol-3-O-rutinoside (nicotiflorin Ⅳ), kaempferol-3-O-
β-D-glucopyranoside (astragalin, Ⅴ), quercetin-3-O-rutinoside (rutin, Ⅵ), and quercetin-3-O-
β-D-glucopyranoside (isoquercitrin, Ⅶ) by chemical method and spectroscopicanalysis. Among these compounds, Ⅰis a new compound, named uralenneoside; Ⅲwas reported for the first time in the genus; Ⅲ to Ⅶ were isolated for the first time fromthe species. Ⅱ to Ⅶ are known biologically active constituents.
