Abstract: The cuticular patterns on leaf surface of Sarcandra glabra (Thunb.) Nakai were studied with scanning electron microscope. It was found that the cuticular patterns vary not only with the district of specimen collection, but also with the developmental stage of the leaf. The characteristics of the cutieular patterns are described in detailwith 2 plates of illustrations.
