Abstract:
AIM To prepare sterically stabilized liposomes containing all-trans retinoic acid, and to study its physicochemical properties. METHODS The microstructure, the particle size and its distribution was determined by DSC,
1HNMR and 90 Plus Particle Size Analyzer and a TEM photo was taken. RESULTS The size of conventional liposomes and sterically stabilized liposomes were about 0.35 and 0.42 μm. The sterically stabilized structure can be confirmed by TEM photo. CONCLUSION The stericallly stabilized liposomes containing all-trans retinoic acid can be prepared by combination of film-casting and freeze-drying.
