Abstract: Glycyrrhizin injected ip to mice 75 or 150 mg/kg caused a significant increase of the weight of spleen and thymus.The wbc count and the clearance rate of charcoal particles injected iv were also increased.In addition, prior administration of glycyrrhizin was shown to be active in lowering the high SGPT and liver GPT level in CCl₄ intoxicated mice.
