重氮化滴定磺胺问题的研究——亮甲酚蓝内指示剂的发现

摘要: 作者用电位法研究六种常用磺胺类药物的重氮化滴定問題,认为本法的滴定終点銳度頗高且相近;滴定曲綫的电位突跃(鉑-甘汞电极)均在500—700毫伏左右。但在滴定到快近終点时反应速度較緩,是一般重氮化滴定引起目測法操作誤差的主要根源,故供試液磺胺浓度不宜过稀,以免終点时速度更显緩慢。增大供試液酸的浓度可提高滴定的灵敏度。在室溫下进行滴定同样能得正确結果。作者观察滴定过程中电位变动的情况而探索內指示剂,提出亮甲酚蓝能作为亚硝酸鈉滴定磺胺的內指示剂?K点变色自蓝到紅。室溫下变色范围与电位突跃完全一致,可得滿意結果。本指示剂并可能作为滴定一般具有芳香伯胺結构的化合物之用。Abstract: The diazotization reaction taking place in the titration of sulphonamides with sodium nitrite in acid medium was studied potentiometrically. Various factors such as reaction velocity, acidity, concentration, and tempreture of the reaction mixture were observed. A new internal indicator—brilliant cresyl blue was found to fulfill the requirements for this titration with a clear end point changing from blue to red. It was tested against six commonly used sulphonamides giving satisfactory result in comparison with those by the official method. It is considered to be a suitable internal indicator for diazotization of aromatic primary amines.
