Abstract:
Eleven chemical Constituents including two new compounds were isolated from the leayes of Atalantia buxifolia (Poir) Oliv. By spectral analyses (UV, IR, NMR, MS) and chemical transformation the structures of two new compounds were elucidated as 4′, 5-2OH, 3′OCH
3, 2″,2″-dimethylpyrano (5″, 6″, 7, 8) flavone and 4-(3′-methyl-but-2′-ene)oxy, N-benzoyl phenethylamine. Seven known compounds were identified as friedelin, lupeol,
α-amyrin, γ-sitosterol,
β-sitosterol, 7-(6′, 7′-dihydroxy-3′, 7′-dimethyl-2-octenyl)oxycoumarin and umbelliferone.
