Abstract: Three new amorphous phenolic glycosides ,isocimicifugamideI), cimidahurine(II)and cimidahurinine(III),have been isolated from the rhizomes of Cimicifuga dahurica.Theirchemical structures were established on the hasis of spectral data(IR,MS,¹H and ¹³CNMR,NOEdifference spectra):I,C₂₅H_3/NO₁₀,a_D⁹一46.2°,N-(3'-methoxy-4'- hydroxyphenethy1)-4-O-β-D-galactopyranosyl-isoferulamide, a geometric isomer of cimicifugamide(IV).II.C₁₄H₂₀O₈,a_D¹⁷一51.4°,3,4-dihydroxyl-β-phenethanol-3-O-β-D-galactopyranoside.III,C₁₄H₂₀O₈,a_D17-45.6°,3,4-dihydroxyl-β-phenethanol-3-O-β-D-glucopyranoside.The isolation also afforded sucrose(V).
