海南狗牙花总生物碱对兔实验性动脉粥样硬化的影响

THE EFFECT OF TOTAL ALKALOIDS FROM ERVATAMIN HAINANENSIS TSIANG ON EXPERIMENTAL ATHEROSCLEROSIS IN RABBITS

  • 摘要: 本文报告海南狗牙花总生物碱(以下称总碱)对实验性动脉粥样硬化兔血清、主动脉和肝脏脂质含量,以及对动脉粥样硬化的影响。总碱能明显降低血清胆固醇(S-Ch)和甘油三酯(S-TG)含量,增加血清高密度脂蛋白胆固醇(HDL-Ch)含量和游离胆固醇(FC)与胆固醇酯(CE)的比值;能使主动脉壁胆固醇含量降低,FC与CE的比值增加,亦能明显减轻动脉粥样硬化的发展。总碱对肝脏脂质含量无明显影响。

     

    Abstract: The effect of the total alkaloid obtained from the root of Ervatamin hainanensis Tsiang on experimental atherosclerosis as well as serum, aorta and liver, lipid levels in rabbits were studied.Rabbits in which atherosclerosis had been produced by cholesterol feeding were fed cholesterol diet together with the total alkaloid at a dosage of 60mg/kg/day for 8 weeks and this was compared with the controt group Without feeding the total alkaloid The results showed that the total alkaloid coused marked decrease of the serum level of total chorlesterol and triglyceride, and increased significantly the content of HDL cholesterol in Serum and the ratio of free cholesterol/ester cholesterol in serum and aorta, in both nomal and cholesterol diet groups. It was also noticed that the content of cholesterol and the degree of development of atherosclerosis in aorta were redused.The total alkaloid Showed no significant effect on the content of liver lipids.
