Abstract:
Seven compounds were isolated from the root of
Peucedanum praeruptorum Dunn.Their structures were identified as Pd-C-I(I),baihuaqianhuoside(II),vanillic acid(III),gallic acid(IV),nodakenin(V),rutarin(VI)and isorutarin(VII)by the combination of chemical reactions andspectral analysis.II is a new compound, its structure was elucidated as 3-methoxy-4-O-β-Dglycopyra-nosylpropiophenone. I is one of the linear dihydropyranocoumarins which was isolated from this plantfor the first time and has certain significance for the chemotaxonomy of plants of
Peucedanum genus. The 2DNMR spectra were measured to correct previous assignments of some carbon signals ofcompounds I and VII.
