Abstract:
Camphoramine Chloroacetic Platinum (CCP) is a new anticancer platinum complex. In the present paper, the effects of CCP on contents and biosynthesi of DNA, RNA and proteins of L
1210 leukemic cell in DBA/2 mice and the mode of action of CCP on DNA template by using isotope and fluoresent probe techniques are reported. Preliminary results revealed that CCP decrease the contents of DNA, RNA and proteins of L
1210 leukemic cell
in vivo and
in vitro and has remarkable inhibition on biosynthesis of DNA in L
1210 cell. The action of CCP may be to damage the DNA template and bind to DNA covalently and noncovalently.
