Abstract:
AIM: To isolate and identify the chemical constituents of the roots of
Aconitum excelsum Reichb.METHODS: The chemical constituents were isolated by silica gel column chromatography and nine compounds were obtained. Their structures were elucidated by IR,MS,
1HNMR,
13CNMR and DEPT. RESULTS: Nine compounds have been identified as delsoline(II),6 demethyldelsoline(III),denudatine(IV),6 methylumbrofine(V),8- methyl-10-hydroxyllycoctonine(VI),gigactonine(VII),8- methyllycoctonine(VIII),lycoctonine(IX) and puberaconitine(X) respectively. CONCLUSION: Compounds III,V,VI and VIII were new diterpenoid alkaloids, and the others were known compounds. These compounds were isolated from this plant for the first time。
