缬草乙醇提取物(VES)对心血管的作用

EFFECTS OF VALARIANA OFFICINALIS L EXTRACT ON CARDIOVASCULAR SYSTEM

  • Abstract: VES was the alcoholic extract of Valariana officinalis L.Intravenous injection of VES 50mg/kg to open chest anesthetized cats produced a significant increase in coronary blood flow (5.7 times over the initial value), marked decrease in oxygen consumption and heart rate, and a transient fall in blood pressure.Experiments with Langendorff's rabbit hearts showed that on the addition of 0.1 ml of 10% VES to infusion system the peak coronary flow was increased by 1.8 times, the heart rate was slowed by 48% and the contractile force decreased by 45%. On adding 10% VES 0.2 ml to the infusion system of isolated organs, the effluent flow from rabbit kidney, ear and hind limp was found to be increased 1.8、1.4 and 2 times, respectively.
