Abstract:
Corydalis taliensis Fr., a Chinese herb, has beneficial effect in treatment of pain and decrease swelling. Nine crystalline compounds have been isolated from this plant. On the basis of spectroscopic analyses (UV, IR, MS, NMR) and physico-chemical constants, seven alkaloids have been identifed as acetylcorynoline(Ⅰ), corynoline(Ⅱ), bicuculine(Ⅲ), (-)corynoline(Ⅳ), corycavine(Ⅴ), protopine(Ⅵ) and corydamine hydrochloride(Ⅶ). The other two have been identifed as nonacosanol-(10) (Ⅷ) and potassium nitrate(Ⅸ). Compound Ⅳ is a new alkaloid.
