Advances in drug research targeting ubiquitin-specific protease 7

Abstract
Ubiquitin-specific protease 7 (USP7) is one of the more widely studied members of the deubiquitinating enzyme family, which regulates the activity and function of a variety of proteins in cells. USP7 is closely associated with the tumor progression, which makes USP7 a highly promising target for drug therapy. However, no drug targeting USP7 has yet been approved for clinical trials, thus the development of drug targeting USP7 still requires in-depth research. This article reviews the structure and function of USP7 and the progress of drug research targeting USP7.
