STUDIES ON THE CONSTITUENTS OF FRITILLARIA WALUJEWII

Five alkaloids were isolated trom the bulbs of Fritillaria walujewii Rgl. in Xinjiang region of China. Alkaloid I was identified as imperialine. Alkaloid V is a new steroidal alkaloid, named sinpeinine A. On the basis of spectroscopic analysis (IR. ¹HNMR, ¹³CNMR, MS) and preparation of derivatives the structure of sinpeinine A was elucidated as (4).
