STUDIES oN THE CHEMICAL CONSTITUENTS OF THALICTRUM OMEIENSE W. T. WANG

Eight alkaloids were isolated from the root of Thalictrum omeiense W. T. Wang, five of them were identified as oxyberberine (Ⅰ), thaliadine (Ⅱ), thalmelatidine (Ⅴ). adiantifoline (Ⅶ) and thamineline (Ⅷ). Alkaloid Ⅵ was shown to be a new compound. Its structure was deduced to be methoxyadiantifoline based on spectroscopic data and physical constants. Methoxyadiantifoline was found to possess pronounced dilatory effect on coronary blood vessel.
