STUDIES ON LACTONE (ONSTUENTS FROM BOENNIGHAUSENIA SESSILICARPA LEVL

Two compounds have been isolated from the ether extract ot Boennighausenia sessilicarpa lévl. On the basis of physico-chemical constants, IR, NMR and MS, they were identified as shijiaocaolactone A (Ⅰ) and rutamarin (Ⅱ), the former being a new compound.
