STUDIES ON THE CHEMICAL PRINCIPLES OF SALVIA TRIJUGA DIELS (LABIATAE)
A new diterpenequinone named hydroxymethylenetanshinquinone was isolated from Salvia trijuga Diels. The structure of hydroxymethylenetanshinquinone C18H14O4,m p 196~8℃ was elucidated as (Ⅰ) by spectral analyses and chemical methods. The root microtissue of Salvia trijuga Diels is more characteristic.
