THE CYTOKINETIC EFFECT OF 2-KETO-3-ETHOXYBUTYRALDEHYDE BIS (THIOSEMICARBAZONE) ON W256 CELL

The cytokinetic effect of KTS on W 256 cell was studied by means of autoradiographic technique. The result showed that the Tc of the cell treated by KTS was prolonged. It seems that this was due to the prolongation of T_s and T_G1. The traverse of the cell in S phase into G₂ phase and the cell in G₁ phase into S phase were delayed, while the traverse of the cell in G₂ phase into M phase was not affected by KTS.
