APPLICATION OF CLUSTERING ANALYSIS OF HRGC DATA IN CLASSIFICATION OF TRADITIONAL CHINESE MEDICINE ATRACTYLODES

In this paper,extracts of 12 plant species belonging to the section Atractylodes wereanalyzed by high resolution gas chromatography, Classification of Atractylodes was accomplished by themethod of clustering analysis of multivariate data obtained from the above analysis. The result wassatisfactory and the technique might be a new methed for the identification of traditional Chinesemedicine.
