STRUCTURAL ELUCIDATION OF GONIOFFITHINE Ⅰ FROM GONIOTHALAMUS GRIFFITHII HOOK.F.ET THOMS
-
Abstract
AIM: To study the chemical constituents from the bark of Goniothalamus griffithii Hook.f.et
Thoms. METHODS: The chemical constituents were isolated by silica gel column chromatography, and the
chemical structures were elucidated by IR, UV, MS, 1HNMR, 13CNMR. RESULTS: The structures of the two constituents obtained were elucidated as 10-amino-2,4-dime-thoxyphenanthrene-1-carboxylic acid lactam (Ⅰ), 3,4,5-trimeth oxyphenyl-1-O-β-D-glucopyranoside (Ⅱ). CONCLUSION: Ⅰwas shown to be a new compound and named gonioffithine Ⅰ, while Ⅱwas obtained from this plant for the first time.
