    Abstract
  • The only chemical composition isolated from the root of Stelmatocryptin kkasianutn (Kurz) H. Baill. by steam distillation, is a white crystalline substance with a melting point 41°, and by preparing its derivatives, it can be sure that this compound is the 4-methoxysalicylaldehyde.
