    Abstract
  • A new flavonoid, named viscumneoside Ⅳ, has been isolated from the ethanol extract of Viscum coloratura (Kom.) Nakai (Hu-Ji-Sheng, a Chinese folk medicine). On the basis of chemical transformations and spectral characteristics the structure of Ⅳ has been established as rhamnazin-3-0-β-D-(6″-β-hydroxy-β-methylglutaryl) glucoside.
