Abstract
Four amino acids(Ⅰ~Ⅳ)were isolated from the ethyl alcohol extracts of fresh fruiting bodies of Amanita pentherina. By spectrometric data combined with physico-chemical properties,Ⅰwas show to be a 3-amino-2-hydroxy-pentanedioic acid and Ⅱ a diastereoisomeric mixture of 2-amino-3-(1,2-dicarboxyethylthio)propanoic acids.I is a new compound.Ⅱ was isolated from thisfungus for the first time. Phamarcological tests showed that Ⅰ and Ⅱ were agonist and antagonist of NMDA-sensitiveglutamate receptors, respectively.
