Abstract
A high performance liquid chromatographic method for the quantitative analysis of bergenin in Luo Xin Fu Astilbe chinensis (Maxim.) Franch et Sav. and Yan Chang Pu Bergenia purpurascens (Hook. f. et Thoms) Engl. is reported. The sample Was extracted with methanol by ultrasonic method. Determination was carried out under the following conditions: column, YWG-C18H37, 10μm, 250×4.6 mm; eluant, methanol-ether-acetonitrile-water (30:2:3:65); flow rate, 0.7 ml/min; chart paper rate, 10 mm/min; monitoring wavelength, 275 nm. p-Aminobenzene sulphonic acid was used as an internal standard. This method was shown to be quick and simple and good results Were obtained.
