PHOTOSENSITIZATION OF OXIMIC ANALOGUES OF PROTOPORPHYRIN TO THE PHOTODEGRADATION OF 2',3'-PROPYLIDENE GUANOSINE

Some oximic analogues of protoporhyrin were prepared. They all show maximumabsorption at 670 nm,Illumination of 2’,3'- propylidene guanosine(IpGu )with a red light in thepresence of oximic derivatives results in high photodegradation of IpGu which is twice as large as thatof haematoporphyrin(HP)。
