APPLICATIONS OF AC OSCILLOPOLAROGRAPHIC TITRATION IN PHARMACEUTICAL ANALYSIS Ⅲ.TITRATION OF SULFATHIAZOLE WITH AgNO₃

In NaOAc-HOAc buffer solution containing acetone, sulfathiazole can be directly titrated with standard AgNO₃ solution using the disappearance of the incision of sulfathiazole to indicate the end point of titration. This visual method is simple, rapid, accurate and gives the same results as the official method adopted in Chinese Pharmacopoeia.
