ISOLATION AND STRUCTURE ELUCIDATION OF CIRENSENOSIDES O AND P FROM THE LEAVES OF OPLOPANAX ELATUS NAKAL

Two new triterpenoid saponins were isolated from the leaves of Oplopanax elatus Nakai.By measuring physical and chemical constants and spectral data,their structures were elucidatedas 3-epi-oleanolic acid 28-O-α-L-rhamnopyranosyl(1→4)-β-D-glucopyranosyl(1→6)-β-D-glucopyranoside;3-O-β-D-glucopyranosyl betulinic acid 28-O-β-D-glucopyranosyl(1→6)-β-D-glucopyranoside and named as cirensenosides O and P, respectively.
