APPLICATION OF FLOW INJECTION ANALYSIS TO THE STUDIES OF IN VITRO ENZYMATIC DEGRADATION AND RELEASE OF NANOPARTICLE OR NANOCAPSULE

  • Flow injection analysis(FIA)was appied to study the in vitro re1ease of 5-fluoro-2'-deoxyuridine(FUdR )from solution(I), FUdR-nanoparticle(II), FUdR-ester-prodrug-nanocap-sule(III)and the enzymatic degradation ofⅢ with liver ,spleen or lung extract.The results showedthat the release rate of FUdR from Il was slowed down, while the amount of drug released from IIIwas little. It was also confirmed thatⅢ could be degraded in the solution containing liver l spleen orlung extract , the major location for the degradation ofⅢ was in the liver.A new application of FIAto the pharmaceutical field was developed.
