DETERMINATION OF VITAMIN B₁₂ BY CHEMILUMINESCENCE ANALYSIS

Abstract

Chemiluminescence analysis, with flow injection, is used for the determination of vitamin B₁₂ by means of the luminol hydrogen peroxide systetm. The linear range is 3 orders of magnitude and the detection limits is 10 ppb. All samples were analyzed by both this method and colorimetry and some comparison between these two methods was made as well. Because of its sensitivity, it can be used as a convenient, and rapid method for clinical drug analysis.
