STUDIES ON THE DITERPENOID ALKALOIDS FROM ACONITUM SUNGPANENSE HAND-MAZZ

Six crystalline alkaloids were isolated from the roots of Aconitum sungpanense. Hand. -Mazz. Four of them were known compounds: chasmanine (Ⅰ), talatisamine (Ⅳ), vilmorrianine A (Ⅲ) and C (Ⅵ). The structures of alkaloids Ⅱ and Ⅴ were elucidated as 13, 15-dideoxyaconitine C₃₄H₄₇O₉N, mp 167～169℃(or 112～114℃) and 8-acetyl-14-benzoylchasmaninie C₃₄H₄₇O₃N, mp 150～152℃ respectively by spectroscopy. These two alkaloids were first found from the title plant as natural products.
