DIFFERENTIAL PULSE POLAROGRAPHIC DETERMINATION OF FLAVONOIDS IN PUERARIA LOBATA

A simple differential pulse polarographic method has been developed for the determination of flavonoid in pueraria. The extraction solvent was 95% ethanol and the supporting electrolyte was 1% ammonium sulfate solution Puerarin gives a well-definite peak at a potential of -1.60 V (vs Ag/AgCl). An excellent linear relationship was Obtained between the concentration (4.6×10^-6～1.4×10^-5mol/L) and peak current.This method is simple, accurate and rapid.
