ISOLATION AND IDENTIFICATION OF THE LIPOPHILIC CONSTITUENTS FROM ARTEMISIA ANOMALA S MOORE

Abstract
From the lipophilic fraction of Artemisia anomala S. Moore, we isolated and identified seven constituents: coumarin, eupatilin (5,7-dihydroxy-6,3′, 4′-trimethoxyflavone), simiarenol, herniarin (7-methoxycoumarin), aurantiamide acetate, arteanoflavone (5,7-dihydroxy-6,3′, 4′, 5′-tetramethoxyflavone), arteanomalactone (9-acetyloxy 3-E(acetyloxy) methyl-5, 8, 9, 11a-tetrahydro-6, 10-dimethylcyclodecabfuran-2(4 H)-one-(6 E, 9 S, 10 E, 11 aR)). Arteanoflavone was isolated for the first time from natural materials. Arteanomalactone is a new sesquiterpene tactone.
