SYNTHESIS OF DERIVATIVES OF XANTHONE-2-CABOXYLIC ACIDS AND DIPHENYL KETONES
A series of substituted xanthone-2-carboxylic acids and diphenyl ketones were synthesized and bioassayed for antiallergic activity, using the passive cutaneous anaphylaxis (PCA) reation in rats. The results showed that i. v. compound Ⅱ and p. o. compounds Ⅳ and Ⅴ have inhibitory activity on PCA.
