    Abstract
  • A new hasubanan alkaloid, named longanone (Ⅰ), C20H25NO6, mp. 161～163℃,αD+86.5 (CHCl3),was isolated from the roots and stems of Stephania longa L.(Menispermaceae). Its structure was elucidated as (Ⅰ) by means of spectral analyses and chemical reactions.
