ISOLATION AND IDENTIFICATION OF ALKALOIDS FROM FRITILLALIA USSURIENSIS MAXIM

Four alkaloids were isolated from the bulb of Fritillaria ussuriensis Maxim (Pin Bei Mu) by a combination of column and preparative thin later chromatographic techniques. Chemical and spectral studies suggested that the alkaloids are a series of C-nor-D-homosteroid alkaloids. Two of them were identified as peimissine, sipeimine. Based on chemical and spectral studies, structure of a new alkaloid, named pingpeimine A are elucidated as 1. Another new alkaloid, nemed pingpeimine B C₂₇H₄₅O₆N, mp 255～257, is under investigation.
