  • A new diterpenoid lactone named triptonolide, C20H22O4, m. p. 214~215℃, has been isolated from Tripterygium wilfordii Hook, native in Fujian province. The structure of triptonolide was elucidated on the basis of MS, IR, UV and NMR spectroscopic analyses.
