CHEMICAL CONSTITUENTS OF THE DRY SOROPHORE OF CORDYCEPS MILITARIS
-
Abstract
AIM To study the chemical constituents in the dry sorophore of Cordyceps militaris. METHODS Various chromatographic techniques were employed for the isolation and purification of the constituents. Their structures were elucidated by spectral analysis and chemical evidence. RESULTS Seven compounds were identified as: 3′-deoxyadenosine (1); adenosine (2); N6-methyladenosine (3); O5′-acetylcordycepin (4); N6-[β-(acetylcarbamoyloxy) ethyl] adenosine (5); cordycepeptide A (6) and ergosterol peroxide (7). CONCLUSION Compounds (5) and (6) are new compounds.
