Abstract

In this paper,the circular dichroism(CD) of 9 taccalonoids,the novel pentacyclics teroidal bitter principles from Tacca plantaginea(Hance)Drenth were reported.Their absolute configu-rations were assigned by using the octant rules of double bond and ketone,planar cyclohexenone rule and γ-lactone sector rule.
