A STUDY ON CHEMICAL STABILITY OF DISODIUM ADENOSINE TRIPHOSPHATE IN AQUEOUS SOLUTION
-
Abstract
In the present experiment, the chemical stability of disodium adenosine triphosphate was studied in a large pH range. The rate constants at different temperatures and different pH values were determined. Kinetic equations and Arrhenius equations were obtained. Activation energy values for different pH as well as the pH value of maximum stability (pH)m at different temperatures were also obtained. It was shown that citric acid ions have catalytic effect on the hydrolysis of disodium adenosine triphosphate. The conventional isothermal kinetic method was used in this experiment.
