STUDY ON THE CHEMICAL COMPONENTS FROM THE BARK OF NOTHOPANAX DAVIDII (FRANCH) HARMS

Two new oleanane type triterpene glycosides ,named yiyeliangwanoside Ⅰ and yiyeliangwanoside Ⅱ, were isolated from Nothopanax davidii (Franch) Harms (Araliaceae). Their chemical structures were elucidated by means of chemical and spectrometric analysis.Yiyeliangwanoside I: C₅₇H₈₈O₂₅, a white powder, mp 203～205℃ (dec.), x_D²⁰- 3.47 (c 0.1, CH₃OH). Its structure was determined as 3 -O-α-(3′, 4′-O-dioic- acetyl )- L-arabinopyranosyl-3β-hydroxyolean-12 -ene-28,29-dioic acid-28- O-α- L-rhamnopyranosyl-( 1→6)-β- D-glycopyranosyl-(1→4)-β-D -glycopyranosyl ester.Yiyeliangwanoside Ⅱ : C₃₇H₅₆O₁₀, a white powder, mp 240-244℃ (dec.),α_D²⁰+ 36.5 (c 0.1 , CH₃OH ). Its structure was determined as 3-O -α-(3'-O-acetyl )- L-arabinopyranosyl -3β-hydroxyolean-12-ene-28,29-dioic acid.
