STUDIES ON THE CHEMICAL CONSTITUENTS OF DIPSACUS ASPER WALL.

Six compounds Ⅰ～Ⅵ were isolated from the roots of Dipsacus asper Wall.. Compounds Ⅰ,Ⅱ, Ⅲ and Ⅵ were identified as sucrose, daucosterol, β-sitosterol and akebia saponin D, respectively. On the basis of spectral analysis and chemical evi-dence, the structures of two new compounds were established as 3- O- (4-O- acetyl)-α-L- arabinopyranosyl-hederagenin 28-O-β-D- glucopyranosyl-(1→6 )-β- D- glucopyranoside (Ⅳ) and 3-O -α-L-arabinopyranosyl oleanolic acid 28-O-β-D- glucopyranosyl-(1→6) -β-D-glucopyranoside (Ⅴ).
