CHEMICAL STUDIES ON ACTIVE PRINCIPLES OF VERATRUM STENOPHYLLUM Ⅲ.STUDIES ON THE STRUCTURE OF β1-CHACONINE AND THE PARTIAL STRUCTURES OF STENOPHYLLINE C AND STENOPHYLLINE D

  • β1-Chaconine (Ⅴ12), stenophylline C (Ⅴ10) and stenophylline D (Ⅴ14) were isolated from Veratrum stenophyllum Diels. The structure of β1-chaconine and the partial structures of stenophylline C and stenophylline D were elucidated on the basis of chemical and spectrometric data (UV, IR, 1HNMR, 13CNMR, MS). β1-Chaconine has not been found previously in veratrum plants. Stenophylline C and stenophylline D have not been reported.
