STRUCTURE DETERMINATION OF SAPONIN Ⅺ, Ⅻ AND ⅩⅢ FROM DIPSACUS ASPER WALL

  • Three new triterpenoid glycosides (Ⅺ, Ⅻ and ⅩⅢ) were isolated from the ethanol extract of the roots of Dipsacus asper Wall. Their structures were deduced as 3-O-β-D-glucopyranosyl (1→4) α-L-rhamnopyranosyl (1→3)-β-D-glucopyranosyl(1→3)-α-L-rhamnopyranosyl(1→2)-α-arabinopyranosyl-hederagenin (Ⅺ), 28-O-β-D-glucopyranosyl(1→6)-β-D-glucopyranosyl ester of Ⅺ (Ⅻ) and 3-O-β-D-xylopyranosyl(1→4)-β-D-glucopyranosyl(1→4)α-L-rhamnopyranosyl (1→3)-β-D-glucopyranosyl (1→3)-α-L-rhamnopyranosyl(1→2)-α-arabinopyranosyl-oleanolic acid 28-O-β-D-glucopyranosyl(1→6)-β-D-glucopyranosyl ester (ⅩⅢ), respectively, based on spectral and chemical analysis.
